The Hardest Job

The hardest job I have ever had is not leading teams, shipping products, or navigating complexity at scale.

It is looking for my next job.

The market has changed.

The tech economy has changed.

More quietly, more consequentially, I have changed.

I am approaching work, ambition, and timing with a different posture now. Less urgency, more discernment. Less performance, more alignment. That shift creates friction. It asks patience from a system that rewards velocity.

Some days, that friction feels like failure.

It is not.

It is acceptance in motion.

I know something meaningful is forming. The mistake is believing the horizon is distant when it is often only distorted by perspective. The illusion is distance, not delay.

Things will happen when they happen. Not because I stopped caring, but because I finally learned how to wait without abandoning myself.

Clarity has its own timing. I am learning to trust it.
