Allocation over exhaustion
When I am not feeling well, energy stops pretending it is infinite.
Every action becomes a choice. Every choice carries a cost. The body turns into a ledger that does not negotiate.
There is a quiet competence in noticing this early, in powering down before something overheats. Conservation is not withdrawal. It is allocation. It is deciding what actually deserves fuel.
I pay closer attention to my signals these days. Physical bandwidth. Cognitive load. Emotional overhead. The system tells the truth if you let it.
My body has temporarily downgraded me to low-power mode. I am honoring the notification.
Presence requires less energy than panic. I am choosing presence.
